![]() ![]() Once he does though, all he has to do is come back, water the flower, hop on top, and then roll on down to the other side for a well-deserved rest on the beach! Just make sure to watch out for seagulls though they aren’t very careful birds. Unfortunately, Piku’s can’t acquire that particular piece of head gear until after he takes care of business in the Forest Village. In this game you will look at the female parts of the body, remember their appearance, and then find a pair of cards. This stalk is actually a flower platform that’s just waiting for Piku to water it, something he’ll only be able to do after getting the Water Hat. If one climbs to the top of Piku’s mountain, they’ll run up against an impassably tall ledge with some sort of stalk growing next to it. All that’s needed is a special piece of equipment. It’s actually possible to climb over the mountain and access what’s on the other side. It’s also located on the extreme west of the land Pikuniku takes place in, but it’s not on the very extreme. This is where Piku initially awakens at the start of the game, and it’s more or less his home. The very first area players will encounter in Pikuniku is Piku’s mountain. Sunshine Town looks like a town that has multiple buildings with the Sunshine Inc Logo on it. Sunshine also quit because they do not get payed. This project is not finished because Piku and The Rebels stopped the project, The Robots that work with Mr. As the colourful buddy duo you must tackle a series of stunning, 2. It’s not actually all that difficult to get to once one knows where it is, and finding it is just a simple matter of taking the path less traveled. Sunshine wanted to Wipe Out the Forest and Village. Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a brand-new 2.5D platformer from some of the key creative talent behind 'Donkey Kong Country'. There is however, one large secret zone Piku can visit if one remembers to look for it. It’s a happy, fun little game that needs to be enjoyed by everyone who owns a Switch, and the world is a better place with games like this in it.ĭevolver Digital provided us with a Pikuniku Switch code for review purposes. For the most part, secret spaces in Pikuniku are limited to small area located in the sides of hills or underground. In fact, nothing about Pikuniku bothers me. It’s also not very long, but as someone who always prefers 3-4 hours of excellent gameplay over 15+ hours with lots of filler, that doesn’t bother me at all. None of it is particularly difficult, but that wouldn’t fit in with the game’s overall vibe. There are also puzzles to solve here and there, some fun boss fights, and, in one memorable spot, a dance battle. The colours here are bright, and the visuals jump off the screen, while the oddly-shaped characters you meet are always quick with a joke.Īs for the game itself, it brings together a whole bunch of different elements. The fifth and final bug can be found in the Sunshine, Inc. The crazy thing is, Pikuniku is set in a dystopia. Pikuniku is an absolutely adorable game from beginning to end, a puzzle-platformer of sorts that draws inspiration from games like LocoRoco and Katamari with its blend of cuteness and absurdity, and that had me smiling from beginning to its all-to-soon end. Welcome to part 3 of our walkthrough of the Pikuniku Adventure Mode Whilst this game is quite linear, there are still some moments and puzzles that may leave you scratching your head. So, to start, I’ll talk about what I don’t like about the game. The problem with loving a game as much as I love Pikuniku is that there’s so much good to say about it, it’s hard to know where to begin.
